2013 Mille Lacs Kona Cup
October 24th, 2013 — General Announcements
Twelve racers competed on Kona boards on Lake Mille Lacs in Garrison, MN September 28-29. Mike Fox did a great job racing the fleet 5 races each day. It is always great sailing on Lake Mille Lacs, and it was even more interesting with the entire fleet on the equalized Kona gear.

2013 Windpower Championships Regatta Report
October 24th, 2013 — General Announcements
The 2013 Windpower Championships were a success again! Many thanks to Windpower Windsurfing and the entire support crew for a fantastic event. The wind showed up great for the event. We had a full Super Crossing from Fond du Lac to High Cliff in 15-20+ mph winds on Friday, and also had strong winds on Saturday for course racing. 3 course races followed by a distance race that took us around the southeast part of Lake Winnebago. Sunday we had 5 more course races in light/moderate wind.

We had great 15-25 mph west wind for the Super Crossing today. Around 10-12 windsurfers, along with a few kiters, sailed from Windpower in Fond du Lac on the south end of Lake Winnebago to High Cliff State Park on the north end of the lake. The trip is approximately 25 miles.
I posted some details on my blog. LINK
